He says "They have discarded their dresses and bought pants so they could dress like men, but unfortunately nature did not shape them for the wearing of pants, and what the world laughingly calls slacks are everything else but "slack."" I do laughingly use the word "slacks" because I think it's a humorous word. But, I have also to laughingly view his ideas on nature shaping women at all. I get the idea from the bible that God did the shaping of men and women and if we're going to talk about abandoning dresses for "slacks", we might as well mention how men did the same thing somewhere along the way (some cultures still find men wearing dress like garments though). Further, if I'd never seen slacks or a dress and someone asked me which body was more suitable for which, I'd probably give women the slacks. My wife and mother have both worn slacks all their lives and I can't think of any situations where either has been mistaken for a man. I've shaken my head at a few other of his thoughts and agreed with many of them too. So it goes. But on this slacks issue, his opinion is probably offensive to many women readers, and in my view: dead wrong.
