I would like to apologise to those many people who tried to post something on the board some time today and were un-able to due to the server being down. Let me assure you that now is just as good a time to post what you had to say as then would have been.

For those of you who are curious, my ISP reports... "One of our servers had a severe disk error. We ran the chkdsk utility to correct this error, however it took much longer than expected. All errors have been corrected and the server should now be very stable."

Apparently they discovered the problem around 9am Eastern and it took until about 7pm Pacific for them to fix it, so a minimum of 13 hours down time for the Fryzland.com server where the Living Waters Message board is being hosted right now. If they had the hardware redundancy and whatnot they should have (and maybe they do, I don't know) then this problem should have been "fixable" in ten minutes, but overall I'm satisfied with their performance thus far.

So, as I said, post away, enjoy yourselves, learn, whatever you feel the need to do here. (and remember, to everybody who asked me about the site while it was down, I have you'r e-mail address now :)
