A: Heavily structured services rather than a more loosely structured study and worship. While organization and order is a must, ceremony and strict order does not allow quality interpersonal relations.

2. What do we need more of and less of in church assemblies to meet the goals of comfort and encouragement?

A: More focus on the church family and the need for us to be together and get to know each other. Less ceremony. Less Sunday morning only attendees.

More discussion type studies that are led by someone who has studied the topic. Less reading all the verses of a Chapter and commenting on each verse with ideas that just popped into our head.

More open minded discussion and meditation on God's Word and sharing spiritual excitement with each other. Less reliance: on ideas that have been generated by Commentators that may have written their accounts with an agenda that we may not be privy to; and on things that we have heard before because "that's what WE believe."
