It is true that we should be consistent with what we believe. However, it is clear that what we believe (and do) greatly matters. We may respect a person's right to believe what they will, evidently God respects human individuality and the right to choose our own destitny, and we should too, but it is a choice that carries ultimate importance. The main thing is to know the truth, and to live by the truth. It is true that many churches do not teach the full counsel of God. Much study is appropriate for all who seek to know the Lord. However, when you say that you know things that are "not meant for all to understand" you are wrong. God's desire is that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), but he will not force anyone. God has declared himself openly, that all might know him. He has always disowned those who claim to have special knowledge and secret wisdom. God's wisdom is a secret only to those who will not accept it. Isa 45:19 I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob's descendants, `Seek me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right. Deut 29:29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. NIV
