I choose faith in the Word of God. How can the Word of God stand forever if what we have had lo these many centuries is but a tossed salad of fiction? The Word itself says "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever." I choose faith, and reject so-called emperical evidence that calls the Word of God a lie. Jesus believed in the flood. Therefore I do. (Matt. 24:38) Essay, you are pleasant, well spoken and present your assertions with confidence. However, you call the Word a lie therefore I fear you tread on the thinnest of ice. "Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe." (1 Cor 1:20-21)
