Hi Steven,

To me, "the beginning" refers to the beginning of TIME, as we know it, where things in the natural realm grow old, decay, and die. This does not mean the beginning of everything and everyone. If that were so, then people could correctly ask "where did God come from"? Of course the answer is: God exists in a different realm, which is eternal. God and the angels are incorruptible (non-decaying). The angels were with God during creation (Job chapter 38). We, being in a flesh body, and this earth age, are what is different. At this present time, we are in a corruptible body, and are accustomed to this thing we call time. We cannot place God's beginning into something that He created. He is without beginning and end (Heb 7:3). So when all TIME is ended, we will also be angelic (Luke 20:36) in an eternal state of existence, like our Father God, as I believe we once were.

Here is one of my studies concerning the time that the book of Job was written. Most people who don’t want to accept the fact that there was another earth age before this one, in error will say that Job is the oldest book in the Bible, which is quite easy to disprove.
The main reason that I studied this so hard, was because of the questions I had concerning what God said to Job, in Job 40:15; “Behold now behemoth which I made WITH thee; he eateth grass as an ox”. Well, if we read on, we will find this huge animal to be a dinosaur.
Now, the question that came to me was this: Did God create the dinosaur while Job was a human being? If so, God would have had to create it AFTER Noah’s flood, as we will find out after reading this study. For someone to say that God created the dinosaur AFTER Noah’s flood, would be saying that He made a mistake. Why?? Because many of the dinosaurs did not have a large enough lung capacity for this atmosphere. But, their lung capacity would have been sufficient for an atmosphere which had higher oxygen content with much more air pressure.
Also, what about the angels (sons of God) who came to present themselves before the Lord, with Satan being among them (Job 1:6,7; Job 2:1,2)? In error it is so commonly taught that Satan has already been kicked out of heaven (Rev 12:7-13). If people would read about the 3 WOES, they would see that Rev 12:12 is the 3rd and final WOE. Then they would notice that if the 1st and 2nd WOES have not yet happened, then the 3rd WOE has not happened yet either. God is not the author of confusion. If anyone tries to say that 3 comes before 1 and 2, then they are confusing God’s Word.
Please check this out. I know that I could have found many more places in the Bible that would confirm this study, if much more time were spent on it. But, I now have 78 studies that I have done over the past 24 years, that I continue to re-read, and occasionally update. After reading this article, you may be able to link other parts of the Bible that will agree with this study. Or, on the other hand, you may think that this study is inaccurate. Which ever happens, I do hope that some of the questions that were brought up will inspire you to study this with an open mind, without some smoothe speaking scripture lawyer advising you how you should believe.

“The Time Job Lived in the Flesh”

Many will say that the book of Job has to be the oldest book in the Bible. One reason is because of Satan and the sons of God (angels) being in the presence of God, talking with God, saying they were going to and fro in the earth and walking up and down in it. And with the angels and Satan presenting themselves before the Lord, it would mean they were in His residence, i.e. HEAVEN. Most teach that Satan was already kicked out of heaven, referring to Revelation chapter 12. But, Rev 12:7-13, has not happened yet. Why?? Because verse 12 is the 3rd woe. And if the 1st and 2nd woe have not happened yet, then the 3rd woe has not yet happened. You can find the 3 woes mentioned in Rev 8:13. Rev 9:12, 1st woe is past. Rev 11:14, 2nd woe is past. Rev 12:12, is the last time the word woe appears in the book of Revelation, making it the 3rd and final woe.
Also compare Eph 6:12, the word “high”. Compare this word “high” to Eph 1:2, where this same Greek word was correctly translated to “heavenly”. So, there is spiritual wickedness from “heavenly” places.
See Dan 10:8-14, and notice in verse 13, that the angel who appeared to Daniel said the prince of Persia withstood him for 21 days. Another place (being the doctrine of Christ), is Matt 11:12.
This is not the only reason that many think the book of Job is the oldest book. Some say it has to be the oldest book in the Bible, because they know that it is a dinosaur that is being described in Job chapter 40. And we know that there are no dinosaurs living today. Many of them had a much too small lung capacity to survive in this 14.7 lbs per inch air pressure, which also has a much lower oxygen content than the atmosphere did before the time of Noah’s flood. So, since it is taught that God knows everything, why would God have Noah take animals aboard the ark that He knew would not survive in our present day atmosphere? Well, as we will find out in this study, Noah did not take the dinosaurs aboard the ark. And, the book of Job is not the oldest book of the Bible.
In Job 40:15, God said that He made the behemoth (dinosaur) with Job. This is where it becomes confusing to many. Because most people know that the dinosaur has been extinct for a very long time, probably millions of years. You see, when God says He made the “behemoth” to be “with” Job, it lets us know that Job was in existence a long time ago, before he became flesh. This is what confuses many. Why?? Because if Job existed at that time, it would be admitting that he existed a long time ago, before he became flesh. Could Job have been an angel? Notice that it is almost forbidden to teach that all of us were angels. Yet it is fairly easy to document it throughout God’s Word, and believe it or not, even from the doctrine of Christ. If you are interested, ask for my study on angels “WeAngels.doc”.
Another place that tends to show us that Job lived during the time of Moses, is Job 42:8, where God is telling Eliphaz to take 7 bullocks and 7 rams as burnt offerings, and asks Job to pray for him, Bildad and Zophar. By comparing the 7 bullocks and 7 rams to; Num 23:29, 1Chron 15:26, 2Chron 29:21 and Ezek 45:23; we find that in all these places of the Bible that these kinds of offerings are not recorded before the time of Moses.

It is best to keep within the Bible itself to settle the question as to when this book of Job was written, and also to treat the whole Bible as the context of all its parts.
It seems fairly easy to find out about when it was written. It definitely was written after Noah’s flood, and probably during the time of Moses.
As we will see below, there is a positive connection between the book of Job, and the law of Moses, which was recorded throughout the Old Testament. Notice how many places in the book of Job compare to a time after Noah’s flood, with many of those places referring to the teachings of Moses and the law (the Torah, the first 5 books of the Bible, which were written by Moses):
See Job 1:5; 13: 23; 14:16, the word “sin”. In order to sin, there has to be a law to break. The first law given concerning all of mankind, is found in Gen 9:5 and 6.
Job 5:17; Compare chastening and correction to Psa 94:12; Prov 3:11,12; Heb 12:6.
Job 5:18; Compare to Deut 32:39, ...I wound and I heal:
Job 6:4; ...arrows of the Almighty....drinketh up my spirit: Compare to Deut 32:42, I will make mine arrows drunk with blood.
In Job 6:19, look up Tema. Tema is Strong’s # 8485, a son of Ishmael, and the region settled by him. Ishmael was Abraham’s first son by Hagar, Sarai’s maid.
Job 9:25, the word “post”, a message or mail carrier. Sounds fairly modern.
Job 9:26, see the words “swift ships”. Also seems pretty modern.
Job 19:25-27; (25) For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: (26) And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: (27) Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
Compare this to Gen 49:1-10, where Jacob is speaking about the coming of Shiloh (referring to Messiah). Here we can see that Job and his friends knew about the coming of Messiah.
Also compare Num 24:17; Balaam speaking: “I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.”
Also compare Job 19:25 above, “the latter day”, to Deut 4:29-31; Moses speaking: (29) But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. (30) When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (31) (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.
Job 19:29; wrath...sword...judgment. Compare Deut 32:41; sword...judgment.... vengence.
Job 21:30; That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.
Job 22:22; Receive, I pray thee, the law (torah) from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.
“law” is Strong’s # 8451 towrah (to-raw'); or torah (to-raw'); from 3384; a precept or statute, especially the Decalogue or Pentateuch: KJV-- law.
The “Torah”, which means the law, is the first five books of the Old Testament, which were written by Moses.
Job 22:24; Look up “Ophir”. He was the great-grandson of Shem. (Gen 10:22-29)
Job 28:28; “Wisdom”. Compare to Psa 111:10; Prov 1:7; Prov 9:10.
Job 32:2; Look up “Ram” and “Buzite”. Ram = Aram; related to Buz, Gen 22:21. Elihu was a Buzite; a descendant of Buz, the 2nd son of Nahor, Abraham’s brother.
Job’s lineage is mentioned in Gen 46:13. He was the 3rd son of Issachar.
Now let’s see if we can find out WHERE Job lived. Job 1:1 tells us that he lived in the land of “Uz”. In Gen 22:20 and 21, immediately after the offering of Isaac, Abraham hears that his brother Nahor has 8 sons, and among them are two named “Uz” and “Buz”, and Kemuel the father of Aram. The KJV says “Huz”, but it should be “Uz”. Look in the Strong’s Concordance, word # 5780 “Uwts (oots)” KJV-- Uz. In the Hebrew manuscripts it is pronounced “Uwts”. There is no “H” sound in it. In those days, a land was often named after a person (example: “Uz”).
Next let’s try to find out when Job’s 3 friends, and the young man Elihu lived. Job’s 3 friends were descendants of Esau. Elihu was related to Nahor, Abraham’s brother.
Eliphaz of Teman, in Idumea, was a son of Esau, and had a son called Teman, from whom his country took its name (Gen 36:10, 11). It was noted for its “wise men” (Jer 49:7); and is mentioned with Edom (Amos 1:11, 12). Esau is Edom (Gen 36:1, 8, 19, and 43). Compare Jer 25:23, where both are connected with Buz, the brother of Uz (Gen 22:21).
Bildad the Shuhite. Shuah was the 6th son of Abraham by Keturah (Gen 25:2); and is mentioned in connection with Esau, Edom, and Teman (Jer 49:8).
Zophar the Naamathite. Naamah (now Na`aneh, 6 miles south of Lod, in the lowlands of Judah).
Elihu was the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram = Aram (Job 32:2). Aram was a descendant of Kemuel, the brother of Buz, who was the 2nd son of Nahor, who was the brother of Abraham (Gen 22:21).
If Job was the 3rd son of Issachar (Gen 46:13), he would have gone down to Egypt with his father.
Issachar was 40 “at the going down to Egypt” (1706 B.C.).
If Job was the 3rd son of Issachar, he would have been about 20 at that time.
We are told that he lived 140 years after his “double” blessing (Job 42:10). If that double blessing included length of years, then his age would have been 70 + 140 = 210 (being three 70’s of years). His lifetime would have been from 1726 B.C. - 1516 B.C.
According to this, he was born the year after Joseph was sold, and died 119 years after the death of Joseph, who died in 1635 B.C. When Joseph died, Job was 91. If his “double” blessing did include length of years, then his affliction took place 21 years previously, when he was 70. His removal from Egypt to Uz must have taken place earlier still.
When Job died, (1516 B.C.), Moses was 55, and had been in Midian 15 years (25 years before the Exodus).
This would account for Job being a worshipper of the God of Abraham, and explains how Moses could have been the author of the book, and perhaps an eye-witness of the events it records in Midian. If so, the time has come (as Dr. Stier foretold and hoped) when this book would be regarded as “the Porch of the Sanctuary”; and when this “fundamental wisdom of original revelations will cease to be ascribed, as it now is by some of the best, to a later poet in Israel”.

May God continue to bless you Steven, and keep you safe.
Louis
