essay, I'm sorry but I just can't leave this alone. You AVOID lumping? I have a little nephew that screams and crys that he's not lying when of course all the adults know that he is lying through his teeth. It looks to me that you avoid lumping when it matters to you and lump as much as you can when you 're trying to make a point.

To the poster Craig, you said "I hope you're not implying that the mainstream of Christianity, Catholic and Protestant (and, I think, Eastern Orthodox too) is serving the devil because they accept scientific facts like the age of the universe, and the evolution of species." This is "lumping" to make your point.

Then you said, "The evidence for these things is enormous, the 'evidence' against them mostly silly and contrived," Silly and contrived? And you and Mike Babb slam me for suggesting that you get a life? I'm called childish? O.K. I see where you are coming from. I'm still not sure about Mike Babb. I think that

essay, you love to define words. Look up the word faith. I know that you assume that I am a creationist although I have never stated that on this forum. The truth is that the creationist and those that believe in the big bang have formed their opinion by faith. You'll never admit that and you will always be wrong until you do. Faith is a good thing. It makes the world stronger.

Lumping? you think that every believer in the world created by God thinks that he created everything new in six days and that any other way to look at it is wrong. No, you're wrong. Most creationists, believe that God created a world with full grown man, animals, trees and with an earth of a varied age. Most believe that God created a process that allowed certain species of plants and animals to evolve and adapt.

essay, you and your big bang friends love to lump all creationist in the same category because it makes you think that you've made a point. You are as stuck in your ways as the Christians that you bash.

Poster Craig seems to have made a pretty valid point by posting words of Bob Dylan. The message in that song is that to many people think that they are smarter than God. Sound familiar?
