I won't argue the validity of that point...

Good point, but can we say, "What is a sin for you may not be a sin for me?"

There seem to be areas that are not clearly stated as good or ill, which are therefore open to consideration of the "congregation" (or message board), and/or are then areas relegated to the aforementioned food subject mentioned in Romans 14, where we take into consideration the whole of the body and don't press views such as eating certain foods.

Assuming you got past that last part, I'll finish by asking if all areas should be relegated to these areas of non-argument. If I were to take the position that for me it's ok to shoot idiots, and you disagree, then I can just not do it in your presence (or maybe shoot you based on my stand). So in my mind there has to be a line somewhere. Regardless of how strong you are, or think you are. How do you decide which issues are non-issues, and which are out and out wrong and must be dissuaded.

It's not like we're going to find that Job 41:1 says...

1 "Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or use Napster for good?"

Cause there is nowhere in the Bible that discusses some of the technology issues (at the least) we see today (unless it's hidden in the story of Noah).

Maybe something like eating the communion bread after communion, or throwing it away fits in here somewhere.
